The Challenge

Research Prospect's main challenge was to develop an enterprise-level website application that would accommodate a complex ordering system, intricate user portals, as well as a comprehensive admin dashboard for managing the ecosystem. The requirements were complex and detailed, including:

Advanced Ordering System: A dynamic platform that allows students to order academic writings such as essays, dissertations and reports. It features a variety of customizable options, conditional questions and a wide range of customizations to meet their needs.

Customer portal: An interface that allows students to communicate with administrators via live chat and manage invoices and payments.

Writer portal: An area dedicated to academic content writers where they can register, bid for orders related to their expertise and submit completed work. They can also manage their earnings.

Admin portal: Comprehensive backend system that allows Research Prospect to manage order processing, writer and customer management, store operations and financial transactions.

The Solution

Our software development team developed a solution to address these challenges. It leveraged the power of Laravel and MySQL with NuxtJs and cloud hosting through Digital Ocean. Payment processing was handled by PayPal and Stripe. Our approach included:

Laravel Backend Development: We selected Laravel because of its robustness, security, and scalability features. These are all essential for enterprise level applications. Laravel’s extensive ecosystem and MVC-based architecture allowed us to create a backend that supported complex business logic and managed data.

NuxtJs Frontend Development: Using NuxtJs we created a highly user-friendly and interactive frontend. NuxtJs is a powerful Vue.js Framework that allowed us to create a seamless server-rendered experience for the user, enhancing performance and SEO.

MySQL Database Management: We implemented MySQL to manage the large amount of data that is involved with the application. This includes user profiles, payment records, and writer portfolios.

Digital Ocean Hosting: The application was deployed to Digital Ocean's reliable, scalable, cloud hosting services. This ensured high availability and performance for the web application.

PayPal and Stripe integration: We integrated PayPal and Stripe to provide users with secure and versatile payment methods. This allows them to complete transactions seamlessly within the platform.
